October 25, 2012: These are photographs of President Obama's appearance at the Carillon in Byrd Park (Richmond, VA) as part of his re-election campaign. The scenes are in three parts. First, there is the line into the park during approximately an hour and a half in the morning. Second, there are scenes of the crowd inside the park over a period of the next four hours. And, the third consists of scenes of the crowd and speakers at the platform, including Congressman Bobby Scott, Senator Mark Warner, Senatorial candidate Tim Kaine, and President Obama. (Please note that the photographs of the speakers on the platform are not the same quality of the photographs of the crowd. I was stuck in a section of the crowd not real close to the platform and unable to move. Due to the limits of the quality of the telephoto functions of my equipment I could not take as sharp photos of the far-away platform as I could of crowd.)
